Featured artist - Who is John Henry Ramistella?
He was born in Brooklyn. At a young age he began his career with a band called The Spades. He won a Grammy in 1967. He appeared in 2 movies in the 70's.

I don't have the slighest idea who this is but I am waiting to find out! I enjoy trivia, especially about 60's artists. Never heard of The Spades, but probably not a lot of others have either. And being in 2 movies in another fact I find of interest. I don't think that there have been many music performers that have been in movies. I only know of Elvis. How often will you be doing a post on a new featured artist? I can only learn more about the 60's by visiting your blog
ReplyDeleteJust stopped by to see if there's anything new. Since I am of the baby boomer generation I try to find trivia info from time to time. I know the answer but don't want to spoil it for others. Hope to catch more trivia soon.
ReplyDeleteWow! I like trivia. Wish I could get picked for "Who Wants to be a Millionaire"! I like the 60s artists that had a lot of songs, but I never liked the most popular songs. Like CCR who did Proud Mary, but I liked Lodi better. Or the Buffalo Springfield's For What it's Worth. I liked Mr. Soul.
